What's New

The North Italian Province (IS) now has email access. Their address has been posted to the Links page. The box is in the care of the provincial secretary (Milano I) and all messages can be directed to: pagazzot@tin.it.

The Justice & Peace Report from South Brazil has been posted to the J&P page. It is available in English, French, Portuguese and Italian. It can be directly accessed here by liking to J&P NA PROVINCIA BM - NELLA PROVINCIA BM - IN THE PROVINCE BM - DANS LA PROVINCE BM

We received word that there are now over a thousand Catholic web sites in Italy. They are all listed on the Lista dei Siti Cattolici in Italia: http://www.aliasnet.it/luna/siti_cattolici.html The site also includes a link to our own web site.

What's Happening
Those who surf the scj web site will note that from time to time either the French and or Spanish pages have not been posted. The reason for this is all the work falls on one individual in each language; Maurice Légaré for French and Francisco Javier Luengo for Spanish. We would very much appreciate forming a 'pool' for each language (as has been done by the Portuguese language group). There are two requirements: A working (reading) knowledge of English and access to email. If you are interested in assisting please volunteer by notifying:
  • Maurice Légaré (CGA) for French Language: mlegare@ibm.net
  • Javier Luengo (HI) for Spanish: jluengo@scj.org
  • For both languages please send a 'cc' to Tom Cassidy (CU) at tomc@scj.org
Provided we find some assistants we will work out a 'system' to incorporate new translators.
